Cancer

The Cancer working group is examining how the cancer care sector can use telehealth to improve patient experiences and outcomes. The group is looking at how telehealth can and is being incorporated right across the cancer continuum including in areas such as prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and palliative care. It is also focused on how the cancer care sector can make equitable changes in the use of telehealth. Future work is likely to include teleoncology, teletrials and telechemotherapy.

The Cancer working group was created in partnership with Te Aho o Te Kahu, Cancer Control Agency. It welcomes anyone with an interest in cancer care, regardless of their experience with telehealth.
