The plan is to provide for an initial integration from PICS (Orion Health PAS) to automatically make the booking within MS Teams when appropriate. This would be determined based on the appointment method being Microsoft Teams or similar on the booking made within PICS. With that in place, a copy of the meeting link is saved locally and then be able to surface that within HCS (Orion Health Regional Clinical Portal) to be clicked on. This approach should mean that admin staff don't need to manually make a meeting invite at all, if we're able to retrieve the clinician's AD user then we'll invite them as well, so it will end up in their calendar automatically. The key is to allow admin staff to continue with their standard workflow where bookings are made in PICS but reduce the admin overhead they currently have due to having to separately make the booking in another application (commonly Zoom currently).
